Kentucky Ag Connection - 12/16/2019

The Murray State University Hutson School of Agriculture (HSOA) has named H&R Agri-Power, Inc. as a recipient of the prestigious HSOA Support Award, reserved for only a select few who have assisted Murray State agriculture in enormous ways.

H&R Agri-Power is a farm equipment dealership with 17 locations across six states, and is headquartered in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Under the leadership of Wayne Hunt and Ross Morgan, H&R has been a strong supporter of University agriculture programs. The organization continually supports HSOA fundraisers and activities, including Fall on the Farm and Soybean Promotion Day, while also serving as the annual sponsor of the Agriculture Leadership Council Career Fair.

Their biggest contribution to the Hutson School of Agriculture is through the Case-IH lease program that provides farm laboratories with annual leases of all University farm equipment, saving resources that can be used otherwise to support Murray State agriculture students and programs. In addition to monetary support, H&R also consistently hires Murray State agriculture graduates to support the human capital needs of their company.
