Special Webinar 'Managing Through the Drought'

The hot, dry conditions are significantly impacting crops across a wide area of the United States and it's already leaving many in the agriculture community concerned about long-lasting effects.

The American Society of Agronomy is offering a free webinar on July 11 and scheduled from noon to 1:30 p.m., Central Standard Time. This specially planned webinar will feature a panel of experts to discuss a number of drought-related topics, including crop assessment, risk management and recommendations, and insurance. There will also be time allowed for questions following the discussion.

-- Emerson Nafziger, PhD, Professor of Crop Sciences and Extension Agronomist, University of Illinois - Urbana-Champaign

-- Chad Lee, PhD, Grain Crops Extension Agronomist, University of Kentucky

-- Additional panelists still being added
